Excursion to Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the town of Pisac and its authentic and traditional Market, where the natives barter with their products. Continue through the Valley to Ollantaytambo, the Incas’ favorite residence, with its terraces rising up the steep hillside to the top. There, a carved stone throne allowed the ruler a magnificent view of his possessions. You will also see the fabulous Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo.
Lunch at a restaurant in the valley. Return to your hotel.

Transfer to the Ollanta station to take the train to the Machu Picchu area.
Bus ascent to Machu Picchu, the “Lost City of the Incas.” Machu Picchu was a thriving ceremonial and agricultural site, likely the gateway to the jungle regions of the Inca Empire. It was associated with the earth-worship rituals centered around the coca leaf, a privilege restricted to the Inca royal family and priests.
Guided tour for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Bus descent to Aguas Calientes.
Return by train to Cusco. Meeting and transfer to your hotel.

Continue through the residential districts of San Isidro and Miraflores.
